JD Feaster Earthworks began excavation at the CSRS riverboat site, which will include a slip for the riverboat, provisions for a dock, accessible parking and paths, and a ticket booth site. The slip will be excavated to just above the summer waterline while the Adam T. Bower Memorial fabridam is fully inflated, and will continue to final depth in the fall once the river level has dropped.
