With the Central Susquehanna Riverboat Society recently securing a lease from Northumberland Borough, volunteers converged on the future site of the riverboat dock, just west of Pineknotter Park, to begin removing brush and overhanging trees. This was the first of multiple work sessions in which local residents, Scouts, and board members worked to prepare the site for excavation.
